Digital & Web Development
Websites and digital platforms designed, built and supported by the same team that maps how your business actually runs.
Explore this serviceUnderstanding how an organisation actually works — before changing it. Requirements, processes and systems examined at first hand, with particular depth in financial services, insurance and SaaS.
Our approach
Most failed change programmes were designed from an organisation chart rather than from how the work is really done.
Before recommending anything we map how work is done today, including the workarounds that never appear in a process document.
Discovery happens alongside the people doing the work, rather than from a summary prepared for us in advance.
A process people will not follow is not an improvement. We design with the people who will be using it, not only for them.
How we can help
Establishing what the business actually needs — and what it only believes it needs — in terms a supplier or development team can build against.
Documenting current-state processes, identifying duplication, delay and manual effort, and designing a target state that is realistic to reach.
Assessing whether existing systems support the way you work, where data is being re-keyed, and what a consolidation would genuinely save.
Planning and running the human side of change: stakeholder engagement, communication, training and the follow-through after go-live.
Examining how responsibilities, hand-offs and decision rights are distributed, and where the structure is working against the outcome.
Supplementing an internal team with experienced analysis and delivery capability for the duration of a specific piece of work.
Policy administration, claims and underwriting workflow, broker and MGA processes, and the operational change that regulatory requirements force through the business.
Why Tanda
We work in industries we have operated in ourselves. Financial services, insurance and SaaS each carry their own vocabulary, regulatory pressure and characteristic failure modes — and a consultant learning them on your time is an expensive way to begin an engagement.
Business consulting has a reputation problem, and it is largely deserved. Too many engagements produce a substantial document, a significant invoice and very little change.
We are organised to avoid that. Engagements are scoped narrowly, tied to a defined outcome, and judged on whether that outcome arrives. We would rather turn work down than take on something we do not believe we can move.
It also means we are candid earlier than is comfortable. If the problem you have described is a symptom of something else, we will say so during scoping rather than after three months of billing.
